The Research Group of Spatial Informatics of the Technical University of Crete has advanced in the final stages of the United Arab Emirates’ Drones for Good international competition, an event that aims to provide and promote creative and innovative uses for drones.
The team’s qualification is a substantial achievement, as it was selected to participate in the final top ten out of hundreds of other entries and the award is the most prestigious of its kind on an international level.
The same research team has distinguished itself in the past in the Copernicus Masters space competition, where it achieved first place.
